Lady Luna of Pedro Point is an 18x24 photomontage printed on matte cold press, mounted on wood panel and sealed in an archival acrylic varnish. Brandon Joseph Baker photographed all of the elements comprising the work and arranged them digitally to create a symbolic narrative. This original premiered in April 2025 as part of Brandon’s first showing of a new body of work titled La Lady Luna.. For La Lady Luna, Brandon pairs his photographs of San Francisco and Pacifica with imagery from his archive of the moon, owls, ravens, flowers, donuts and Pre-Regan Era Playboy magazines. The 18x24 surreal photomontages explore how location, memory, nostalgia and time define the phases and context of “home”.
