Brandon Joseph Baker brings 20 plus years experience working as a commercial photographer and content producer creating luxury catalog imagery, eCommerce photography and branded content stories to the Bay Area’s artist community.
‘I was wildly curious about Risa’s felting process and reached out to her for a studio visit. We had a great time laughing and making content for a short reel to promote her solo show at MAG Galleries. A few weeks later I visited her show to complete the story by photographing her art in the gallery. This was how the Artist Content Production started; genuine joy working with and meeting artists.’
Brandon writes and creates photography and video with an editorial focus on promoting an artist. Brandon focuses on creating copy, photography and video about the artist so the artist can focus on making art. He currently writes for Moth Belly Gallery’s Studio Visits and Interviews blog and has created content to promote Moth Belly Gallery, 111 Minna Gallery, Mirus Gallery and MAG Galleries.
Customized video for social promotions is an integral part of an artist’s content needs. Brandon’s video content focuses on the artist’s craft and energy. Collaboratively sharing allows for maximum organic reach and engagement with viewers. Brandon captures video or photography in advance of an opening to announce the exhibition or the night of the opening to publish as a recap.
Leveraging a commercial photography background, Brandon's art reproduction services from his West Oakland studio are affordable and accurate. Each artwork he documents is $50 and the file is delivered to the scale of the original art, ready to be printed or published online. If you can’t get your work to the studio, Brandon will travel to your studio or gallery to document the work for a $175 location set up fee. Delivery is usually within 24 - 48 hours.
