PHOTOGRAPHY
My approach to photography has always been to illustrate a story within a single moment.
I studied art and photo journalism at The University Of Kansas and graduated in 2003. My first job was at The Kansas City Star in the Advertising Photography Department. When I moved to San Francisco, California in 2006 I began working on film documentaries as a still photographer and commercially at Sandbox Studio. From 2006 - 2011 I traveled the United States covering editorial stories and working with a variety of commercial clients. In 2011 I began producing photography for The North Face.
Working as the Senior Producer at The North Face has allowed me the opportunity to use the skills and vision I have for photographic storytelling to creatively guide a campaign from inception to point of purchase. I enjoy traveling the world and having my work shown on billboards and on websites globally, the broader the audience the better.
My current photographic pursuits are rooted in my conceptual art background. I am currently pursuing more creative ways to challenge and express myself in photography and am always interested in working with new like minded creatives.
