JULY 2024 Update Brandon Joseph Baker
July has brought some exciting new opportunities with my work. I’ll be showing at Pancakes and Booze in SF this week, July 18th and 19th. It’s an event I missed showing at last year that several of my artist friends spoke very well about. It brings in a large crowd and the vibes are solid. It’s a ticketed event, hit the link below in advance for a cheaper price than at the door. I’ll have 3 pieces up for sale at a discounted price during the show. But only available at the show.
I’m working on commissions for murals in San Francisco this fall. My project concepts enter the approval process in August but the murals will be on 11 utility boxes along Van Ness from Geary to Market St in heavily trafficked areas by City Hall, San Francisco Opera, Herbst Theater, Tommy’s Joint, New Conservatory Theater and the San Francisco Symphony. I am adapting my street art style out of wheat paste and using stencils of my photography to mimic the collage work. I’ve been testing the method out and published a process test Instagram.
