ROLES

Creative Director, Photographer, Producer, Artist //

Freelance 2023- 2024

I chose to return to a freelance status leading creative and art direction for my previous clients in DTC, apparel, home goods and tech industries focusing on event activations, content development and product launch campaigns. I am also pursuing my art full time and in 2023 I showed my art in 8 different art shows, including a solo show. 2024 is already taking off with a solo show at the end of March.

Director of Creative Production and Studio //

MINTED 2022

This hybrid role straddled Creative Director and Production Director responsibilities. I revitalized a photo and video studio, hired and mentored a team of designers, project managers, copy writers, photographers, retouchers and stylists, while managing a cross functional brand relaunch. Our emphasis; elevating brand creative in direct to consumer art, home goods, soft goods, stationery and wedding announcements.

Director of Creative operations //

LaunchBoom 2020 - 2021

I led a team of 15 at an agency focused on DTC brands and targeted social advertising for crowd funding product launches. I developed standard operating procedures, budgeting structure and team project management for sustainable business growth.

Senior Producer //

The North Face 2011 - 2019

Leading and hiring a team to support the global marketing needs of this behemoth apparel brand was a true joy. It brought me all over the globe on productions and allowed me to build a team whose mantra, ‘Make Cool Shit’, won countless advertising awards and disrupted the outdoor apparel space in a very exciting time of change in culture.

Photographer //

Sandbox Studio 2006 - 2010

Photographing for clients in the apparel, home goods and luxury consumer industries introduced me to a balance of life on the road and life in a studio.

Photographer //

The Kansas City Star 2003 - 2005

Immediately after graduating with a Journalism degree with an emphasis on Photo Journalism I began photographing full time as a staff photographer for the same paper where Ernest Hemingway worked, just many years apart.
